Lorenzo weakens into category 3 hurricane in the Atlantic -U.S. NHC

Lorenzo weakened into a category 3 hurricane in the Atlantic but is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through the weekend, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Friday.
